Great Things

Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father. And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:12-14)

Everything

Former Things

One Thing

Something Greater

"I say to you, something greater than the temple is here." (Mt. 12:6)

"Something greater than Solomon is here." (Lk 11:31)

"Something greater than Jonah is here." (Lk 11:32)

Be Glad and Rejoice

But be glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and be glad in my people; no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress. (Is 65:18-19)

GOD'S PROMISE

No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days, or an old man who does not fill out his days, for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed. (Is 65:20)

They shall build houses and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. (Is 65:21)

Things Accomplished

Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things which have been accomplished among us, just as they were delivered to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word, it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an orderly account for you that you may know the truth concerning the things of which you have been informed. -- Luke 1:1-4
